Hello again,
Thanks for the feedback. I wish I could tell you the "why" of their
motives for investing, but that's information no web search is likely
to reveal.
I had another in-depth look, searching UK newspaper databases for the
company name, as well as the names of the principals, but nothing came
up. Like I said earlier, this is a small company, with not much of
"footprint" on the internet. There is no indication that their
charter or even a basic description of their business activities are
available to the public.
I did find some interesting information on Chieftain Marketing Ltd,
the company in which Operation Share reported a 50% investment.
Chieftain Marketing is at the same address as Operation Share, and has
some of the same company officers -- Mssrs. Houghton and Cornelius --
as well as another Director, David Richard Hilton.
The company has the same accountants as Operation Share, and operates
on a similar financial scale, with outstanding net liabilities to the
tune of 11,000 pounds.
Its business is listed simply as "Other business activities" so I'm
afraid there's no real indication of what they actually do.
Beyond that, I did not find any additional information of note.
