There are many chemical companies sell chiral resolving reagents. If you want to buy in bulk quantity, vendors from China or India generally can give you a best deal. If the chiral reagents you wanted is not very complicated, you can find many manufacturers in China. As for resolving reagents in both enantiomer, you must try this place, www.dlchiral.com , it claims itself as a bulk supplier of both enantiomers. If that is not the case, please clarify your questions. |

Thanks, Bob and David for your comments about my question. Our chemist told me the resolving reagents are a tartrate. I checked www.dlchiral.com, a very professional website, and indeed they sell chiral compounds in pairs of two enantiomers. The firm D-L chiral chemicals does have what I wanted and the prices are really good. It looks like D-L company is an outlet of manufacturers in China. |

tartaric acids are super cheap and can be obtained from most chemical suppliers. consider all options. |

Dr Bob is spot on. Appearantly, at my old undergrad, in amongst the resolving compounds and polarimiters was a good sized vial of cocaine. Not maybe the easist to get your hands on of, but some one the 'old guard' assured me that it 'worked a treat, too' at resolutions. |
