vtext.com's selection is much to limited, plus I can only seem to get
ringtones from there I want better wallpaper, this phone seems to be
set up to recieve a new wallpaper. yet all the ringtone sites i go to
say my phone isn't supported. is there no one besides that vtext site
that can send stuff to this phone?!

I just changed phones, I found a larger verizon store then the one I
went to the first time and they let me trade that phone in for a
Kyocera kx414 and gave me $30 back to boot.
but my current plan doesn't allow me to use the moble web feature.
(just there get it now feture) and as far as I've been able to tell I
can't get it added.
can use sites other then theirs? and if so who?

the phone might beable to understand the WAP protocol; but I don't get
WAP service. I tried using the mini browser on the phone and it said
security key error. I talked with version about that and they said I'm
susposed to get that error as I'm not susposed to get to the internet
though the phone.

Hi -

I have the same phone; as I recall, if you go through Verizon's main
page and not vtext.com, you can see other options that also use text
messaging to send ringtones, etc.

I found a way to install ringotnes (which are just MIDI files that can
be found with some effort) using a datacable purchased at radioshack
and using the guide found at:

Have you tried "get it now?" I recall there being a program called my
scenes or something simular. I used it to download a couple of
wallpapers on my old phone before i got a camera phone.

Hey,

Well the best solution i have found for cell phone wallpapers is here:
http://www.freemobilefun.net/free-cell-phone-wallpapers/

All you need is WAP enabled on your cell phone and you can download as
many wallpapers to your cell phone for free as you like.
