Shareaza is actually one of the easier P2P applications to configure.
It should only require a single forwarded port.
Step 1: Find out which port Shareaza is using. This will be under
Tools > Shareaza Settings > Connection > Port. Either use the default
port (not "Random-0") or choose a random port yourself, which is
better for a variety of reasons. I use port 60996 for all P2P
programs.
Step 2: From what I've learned from the DSL-G604T manual, port
forwarding options are under the Advanced > Virtual Server tab in your
router configuration. You have most probably already been here in
order to configure your router, so you should know how to get there,
if not, it's the URL address: 10.1.1.1
It will ask for the:
Rule Name: (Shareaza)
Private IP: (your computer's IP, not the router IP. your IP can be
found by going to the Start button > Run > Type "cmd"/OK > Type
"ipconfig" > Look under "IP Address." it should be something like
10.0.1.1.X according to the manual)
Protocol: (Choose Both, as Shareaza uses both TCP and UDP)
Port Start: (port number you chose under the Shareaza settings) Port
End: (same port number)
Port Map: (same port number)
These are the steps I took to configure Shareaza on my own D-Link 604
router. Hopefully they're the same for yours.
