I like to use plain old witch hazel. It reduces the appearance of
pores, serves as a "toner," and has a nice, fresh scent.

Wash your face clean which is very important.
Then Use the face cream to irrigate your face.
If there are some pocks on your face, use the mentholatum Acne product on it.

The plain truth is that pores don't shrink. Pores are not openings
that can expand and contract like muscles. They do stretch, but pores
are not so elastic that they can contract to their smaller state. You
can reduce the appearance of the pores by cleaning them with regular
facials, and increase your exfoliation to minimize their appearance.

Don't spend a lot of money on something that isn't possible.

If you have open pores, there is not a lot that you can do to shrink
the pores permanently. The effects of facial toners are only
temporary. It is important to develop a good skin care routine to
prevent further skin damage and open pores. Deep cleansing twice a
day is a must. Weekly facial scrubs and a facial once a month would
help to improve the health of the skin. For more information, visit

In my own experience, an alpha hydroxy creme at night seems to help.
Cleanse the skin well with a gentle cleanser, some soaps remove
important oils from your skin and then your body works quickly to try
and restore them leaving you with too much and thus clogging pores. A
gentle cleanser with green tea or oats and honey works well. Make sure
you tone your skin but make sure the toner you use does not contain
alcohol as alcohol will dry out your skin. Then moisturize. I use the
alpha hydroxy cream at night and it moisturizes as well as sloughs of
dead skin cells leaving pores cleaner and tighter.

As we age, our pores become larger and they don't "shrink". You can
minimize the appearance of large pores by using a good scrub/exfoliant
like Five Star Nights scrub. After using the scrub it cleans up the
blackheads which make the pores more noticable.
