An approximate English translation I think goes like that:
"A woman must be a queen on the street, an angel in church, and a devil in bed"
Could you provide me with the Spanish original and better English translation?

Hi sleepysphinx,

Thank you for your question.

A woman should be a lady at the table, a saint in church and a whore
in bed.

Hi again,

I just spoke to a 75 year old woman born in Chile.

She said that the saying goes like this:

The woman you marry should be a lady at the table, a saint in church
and a whore in bed.
