I am trying to purchase a 12v car adaptor charger for my Toshiba
PA3384U-1BRS laptop but the parts shop say the item is available in 90
watts or 125 watts. I wanto find out how many watts the 12v input into
my battery/laptop is.

It's absolutely amazing how difficult laptop manufacturers make it to
get adaptors for the car.


According to:

The battery for the TOSHIBA PA3384U-1BRS has the following specs:

Volts: 14.80 


Capacity: 6600 mAh




By my reckoning (volts x amps = watts) that gets you:



14.8 * 6.6 = 97.68  watts


Sounds like 90 watts ought to do it, but definitely check this out
with some knowledgable clerk at Radio Shack, or wherever.
