I read google answers for entertainment. It is interesting to read
what people want to know and the answers to the questions. I get
bored sometimes and try to figure it out myself, for kicks.

Anyway, there are some questions you guys have not answered that are
expired that ponder in mind that from time to time.
For example, the unanswered question of about relationship between
Edison Portland Cement Company and the Golleschau Portland Cement
Company stills turns in my mind ( see
http://www.answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=460283 for
question)

So my question to you all is what unanswered question turn in your
mind that are unanswered? Maybe we, nonpaid researchers, can
alleviate the past burden and take up the search since you are not
going to be paid for it anyway.

I think the States List Puzzle (mentioned Bowler-ga's comment) is your best bet.

The puzzle has an official home, last updated 15 March 2003.

Wouldn't mind seeing an answer to this one:

Subject: misspellings

How would I go about finding out the most common misspellings of the
word poker? I know that it is a relatively simple word to spell, but
I'm sure that in haste we are all prone to misspelling words,
especially when typing on the net. A response in a form similar to
that which is found on ://www.google.com/jobs/britney.html would
be the ideal response. But if you are not able to provide me with
something like that, just giving me information on how I could find
the answer to my question would also be helpful. Thanks.

This question was asked twice, and never answered:

I racked my brain on that one, and it still bothers me. Sometimes I
think about it late at night when I can't sleep. It's as if it is
something that I *ought* to know. Very frustrating.

This is my favorite unanswered question:

A song heard in a gym, may have been techno, singer may be male. Tempo
was kinda mediumish.

I admit though, I don't lose any sleep thinking that I should know this one...

I'm not a researcher but the one unanswered question that really
bugged me was this classic:

Oh yes bowler, how could I forget this one. Theoretically, it is
supposed to be solved by now...
