I'm looking to get back into actively answering GA questions (after a
1.5 year hiatus), but it appears to me (from trying links and browsing
through recent newsletters) that the old Researchers Forum seems to be
defunct and there's no clue as to where researchers now communicate.

Is there such a place anymore? If so, how do I access it?

Well, howdy! Glad to see that you are among the living!

I reckon that if you write to the Google Answers Editors, they'll
provide you with the current location of the forum. Posting the URL in
public doesn't seem to me like a good idea, since the forum itself is
not open to the public.

Hmm. If its moved [for good], there wasn't any announcement that I saw
either. All I get for the old location is a 404 (or a placeholder for
the top level site).

Perhaps if several nagged the editors they would put out a general
announcement so we can get back on board.

I couldn't remember whether the forum was password protected or not.
If not, as appears to be the case, then posting the URL here would be
the height of foolishness.

I got the same 404 when I tried the "old" link, maniac - which is why
I posted this question. :-)

I'll email the editors.

Yah, we don't know what's up with Glenn, so I've been running the
backup.  If you google on my user name, you should be able to figure
