I create dvd presentations with IDVD in the macintosh platform. It is
very easy to use and creates a great product. Is there a software
package similar to IDVD for the pc platform that is easy to use  and
gets the same great results I get from IDVD.

I use Adobe Encore to author DVD's on a PC.
It can import mpegs and avi files.
The look to the DVD interface can be designed in Adobe Photoshop and
imported into Encore. It supports the the import of Photoshop layers.
