I need to compare the content value of vehicles sold in different
parts of the world, particularly:  U.S.; Japan, China, Korea, and
South America

To do this, I want to compare the average passenger car sales price in
these regions in U.S. dollars (so may require some currency
conversions).


For example, motor trends said the Average New-Vehicle MSRP Tops
$28,000 for First Time in april 2003.

I want to know the comparable numbers for the other regions.

I know that South America is a large area.  Brazil or Sao Palo could
be a decent proxy.  This is a very high level perspective so needs to
be generally correct - not precise.

The desired answer will look something like this: (I just made up the
numbers below)

Average Price of New Passenger Vehicles - 2005
U.S.          - $30k
South America - $25k
Japan         - $35k
Korea         - $20k
China         - $15k

China: $20,000
Brazil: $6,000-$8,000

Unfortunately these sites each have a different way of determining the
average price of cars, so it's not quite an apples to apples
comparrison.  And I couldn't find 1 site that states every country or
even all the countries you requested on separate sites.

What you're showing is very close - If you can find Japan and Korea,
please add and reflect as the answer.  Best, - John
