I was looking for best practices in Oracle9i interms:

Database Installation,
Creating database stored procedures,
Creating database users, roles, profiles,
Implmenting and using cursors

About a page or two on any one of these topics with source will be of g8 help.

You can search the ask tom site (eg asktom.oracle.com or go to
otn.oracle.com. (tech net)  OTN has a  registration requirement, but
no charge, and I don't get spam from them.  Lots of white papers,
documentation, etc.(and free!)

Tnks for the reply. I am a novice begginer to Oracle 9i. I went to the
sites mentioned, but it has tons of information and I really could not
figure out the Best Practices...I am looking for best practice on any
one of those 4 topics.
