I need to find one or more sources where I can buy DVDs (especially
U.S. produced children?s DVDs) that have Brazilian-Portuguese language
tracks (which typically means they need to come from Brazil, as most
other DVDs that list Portuguese as a language track are unfortunately
Portuguese from Portugal). I?d like to have them shipped to New
Zealand (or, worse but acceptable, the U.S.). Furthermore, I must be
able to pay without needing to fax my credit card information to the
store (which is what several otherwise excellent potential sources ?
somlivre.com, dvdworld.com.br, and Lojas-Americanas
[www.americanas.com.br] ? require). One other source,
www.southamericanway.com, doesn?t appear to have the kinds of movies
I?m looking for (e.g., the Brazilian versions of The Incredibles,
Shrek 2, Duck Tales, Hunchback from Notre Dame, The Polar Express,
etc.). Finally, I?d ideally like to be able to pay using PayPal (not
necessary, though).

Well, I think there are some options in your case. I checked those
stores and some others, most don't even show the "international"
option. First, Paypal is not common here in Brazil, instead we make
deposit in the account the seller indicates. I am not sure, but check
if paypal has an option to send money to accounts in other country,
because if they do you only have to ask the seller to ship to your
country.
Today: 1 dolar (NZ)= 2 reais (BR)... So you would be paying something
like 20 dolars for a DVD plus mail.
Mail can arrive from 4 to 27 days, it depends if it's express or
regular. And it can cost from 20 (regular) to 40 (express) dolars each
500g.
So make sure you ship as many dvds as you can at once. My other
suggestion is that you find someone you trust here to buy this things
(on the internet they are more expensive) and send them to you.
Hope I could help...
