Both AutoCad and Excel support Visual Basic for Applications programming language. You could likely get something of this type done by http://www.mrexcel.com/graphics.shtml |

I actually have referred a few businesses to this gentleman... He's definitely got experience in that particular area, and he's a really down-to-earth guy to talk to. His web site is: http://www.ramaxey.com As far as his availability and specifics, I'd recommend that you at least contact him with a solid idea of what you're looking for, and see what he says. For reference, here are some of the clients he's done work for in the past. (I don't think these are mentioned on his site) Fort Worth Tower Inc. http://www.fwtinc.com/ McKnight & Hosterman Architects http://www.mcknightgroup.com/index.html Solution Recovery Services http://www.solutionrecovery.com/ I'll also mention that I believe he's a published author of a couple reference books on AutoCAD. Hope this helps out a bit in your search, --Andrew P.S. He's still (to my knowledge) a one-man operation, so his costs were incredibly low compared to some other full-fledged design firms that you'll run into. |

Link seems to work for me... Hmmm... Go figure. :-S Well, I have 2 email addresses for Randy, but I'd rather not post them here on Google without his direct consent, but I have no problem sending them to you via email. My email is aghast@gmail.com. Let me know if you want them... --Andrew |

I'm not sure if BID2WIN can take CAD Drawings and repurpose them for estimating needs but I do know that MC2's ICE 2000 can. Hope that helps. http://www.mc2-ice.com http://www.bid2win.com |
