What is the output wattage (door/rear speakers) of the factory stereo
that came standard in a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4-door SUV
(4.0 Liter)? The stereo is an AM/FM casette player with a two-band EQ
with dolby NR. I'm installing speakers and need these specs. Thanks
and good luck!

Too little to power decent speakers.

I had a Kenwood in-dash receiver with 4X50 watt output (200 Watt
total) in previous Jeep, and this factory stereo has MUCH more power
than the Kenwood did. That's why I ask the question. I'm pretty sure I
need speakers rated at least 60W or higher. Besides, I don't need the
neighborhood to hear the music, just me :-)
