What scene or scenes were filmed in Flagstaff AZ. for the film 'The Exorcist'.

many exorcist sites label flagstaff arizona as a film location.
i aleady checked imdb first-
so my question wasn't answered...

yeah i go to Georgetown a few times a year.
they sold the house @ 3600 Prospect st. for $6 mill last year.
everytime i go there,there is ALWAYS a bunch of people taking pics of
the stairs & house.

The famous exterior stairway was not far from where I used to work in
Georgetown (D.C.)

I believe the Iraq locations (where Father Merrin discovers the idol
and the statue) were filmed in Arizona. That's just a guess, though.

According to the DVD, the scenes in Iraq were filmed on location in Iraq.
