We are looking for the incidence and prevalence numbers for Acute and
Chronic Pancreatitis. These are teh numbers we found:
Incidence Acute Pancreatitis: 80, 000 (NIDDK, SSAT)
Prevalence Chronic Pancreatitis: 20, 000-30, 000 (SSAT)

However, we want to confirm the following because the DRG204 data
indicates a much higher incidence for acute (more than 200, 000):

What is the total number of new case of acute pancreatitis every year?
What is the total number of cases of acute pancreatitis (new and
recurrent) that present each year?
What is the prevalence of chronic pancreatitis?
Have these numbers been rising in the last decade and how much?
