What percentage of DVD/VHS sales go to block buster via Paramount?

Clarification of Question by marimar9318-ga on 04 Mar 2005 12:10 PST
I'm looking to find out whether or not Blockbuster has economies of
scale when purchasing its DVD's wholesale. I need to find out whether
or not Paramount (or Warner, Disney, Fox, Columbia, Universal, or
MGM...any of them) have considerable mass merchandising wholesale
operations through blockbuster...i.e does block buster have a set
wholesale price it purchases its DVD's, if so what

Until very recently, Blockbuster and Paramount were both owned by
Viacom, so it is unlikely that their intracompany transactions are
typical of the industry. In any case, "Hollywood accounting" has
always been a very mysterious art.
