I need to learn how to write code in VB6 that will send a data value
(number) to a PLC? I also need to know how to receive that value in
PLC?

Here is what I am trying to accomplish:

I have a stop light (green, yellow, red) that is wired to a PLC. I
would like my "Visual Basic 6" program to send a value to the PLC and
depending the range that value falls between the appropriate color on
my stop light will turn on.

I am very new to programming both Visual Basic 6 and PLC using
RSLogix/ RSlinx (I am not an IT guy), so I need detail step by step
instructions that a Kindergartener could follow.
