You could try to contact "The Courier Mail" Birsbane newspaper that was around back then: thecouriermail.com.au or the Queensland Univ. Library: library.uq.edu.au I'm no good at using search systems. Checking on g++gle for Brisbane march 1945, the news headlines were all about the war, logically. Good luck |
