While in Germany in 2000, I purchased a snarling bluebird made out of
clay.  He is 4.5" tall by 3.5" wide (with beak).  His coloring/paint
is kind of like a watercolor, the paint is kind of washed looking.  He
is a blue bird (blue on head and chest) with red cheeks.  I purchased
him at a gift shop is nurenburg, I believe.  I can provide a picture.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "snarling," but here is a
