Hello Ryw, Finland has the highest museum to person ratio. "There are over 1000 museums in Finland. There are more museums per capita in Finland than in any other country: One for approx. 5,000 inhabitants." Ostindiefararen http://www.ostindiefararen.com/destnord.htm ?Altogether, there are over 1000 museums in Finland. In proportion to its population Finland probably has more museums than any other country. One third of all the museums have at least one full-time employee.? Museums in Finland http://www.museoliitto.fi/suomenmuseot/english/pages/organization/museums.html ?There are more than 1100 museums in Finland and that means to most, the greatest museum density in the world in proportion to the population.? Rauma Maritime Museum Foundation http://www.rmm.fi/english/museum/project.htm Finland Population: 5,183,545 (July 2002 est.) http://www.nationbynation.com/finland/Population.html Search terms: Museums per capita highest number of museums I hope this is helpful! Best regards, Bobbie7 |
