I am seeking the manufacturer of the novelty jacquard ribbons featured at sites like preppyribbon .com, ribbongirls .net, lesbonribbon .com, etc. The company produces ribbons with whales, tennis rackets, owls, etc woven into it. There are lots of jacquard ribbon companies, but the manufacturer you find must be the one manufacturing these patterns (see websites above for examples). I have reason to believe that the company is based somewhere in Asia. I have also heard the ribbon referred to as ?taffeta ribbon? and ?woven jacquard? A good answer will include a website or phone number and any other contact information available. Site must be available in english and/or the phone number should have an english speaking person available. Again, I need the *actual* manufacturer-- not a retail store or online store with a wholesale or custom rate. (credit may be given for a legitimate distributor- ask for clarification if found) A $50 tip will be given to the researcher who finds this company and answers my query to my satisfaction. |

Hi, I came across your search today for jacquard ribbon. I don't know the exact company you are referring to, but I am aware that a jacquard weave is pretty expensive. So, if you should ever consider a screen print or a hot stamp design please let me know. I have seen prints put onto grosgrain numerous times (a lot of the big companies utilize this) and it really looks just as nice and is less costly. I deal directly with a ribbon manufacturer so you would receive the best wholesale price. Thanks and Good Luck! |
