By tradition the British Monarch and Prime Minister meet once a week
(at Buckingham palace) where the Prime Minister updates the Monarch on
all the important issues of the day. I believe the meeting lasts for 1
hour and it takes place at the same time same day of the week
(assuming both of them are in town. I hear the present incumbants do
travel quite a bit though:-) )

That is dead right Mongolia,
Because of course in our Consitution (Unwritten)Tony Blair is
appointed by the Monarch and is beholden for his job on the Monarch's
pleasure. It is custom and practise that the Prime Minster is the
leader of the largest party after an election- but if that party
doesn't ahve an absolute majority and is unable to forge an alliance
with smaller parties to creat one then the Monarch can invite a leader
of a smaller party who can get a majority together.
