We all know there are a lot of online dating services, ebay, and other
similar places where people can go and find what they need.  Is there
a website that caters specifically to individuals such as business
owners looking for professionals that can help them with legal,
investments, "how to" procedures(i.e., how to franchise, how to
expand, etc), and other things that a small business owner may need. 
For example, I am a business owner and would like to network with
people that are in private equity / first round financing.  Is there
such a place on the net, where instead of finding your "soul mate",
you can find resource individuals that can help a business owner? 
Kind of like a place where people can post their
trade, specialty, service, or expertise along with some bio info and
contact name, etc. ???  Almost like a dating site/headhunter site/ebay
site/business network....

Hi again reeden-ga!

A few questions...

a. Are you looking for something like a directory of business consultants?

b. I was able to find a directory of business consultants but they do
not have bios but only a description of their services. Some
directories allow you to post a project for them or contact them
directly. Is this ok?

c. Plus some of them do not advertise to catering specifically to
small businesses. Is this fine as well?
