Show a diagram that, when a mirror with a fixed beam incident on its rotated through a certain angle, the reflected beam is rotated through an angle twice as large. |

http://faraday.physics.utoronto.ca/PVB/Harrison/Flash/Reflection/Reflection.swf shows a picture you can manipulate. See the "more complex case" on the second page. http://www.phys.ufl.edu/courses/phy2005/solutions/ch26.html has a small static picture (initially, the angle between the incident and reflected beams is 0 deg, mirror is rotated 20 degrees and you can see the angle between the beams is 40 degrees. |
