No - they won?t knock you back. I suggest that you investigate all of the insurance companies and available options in Australia to obtain the ?insurance cover? that best suits you. Thanks CJ |

Unless you are really elderly or terminally ill or something insurance companies won't knock you back completely but the premium you have to pay depends on factors such as your age, your medical history and the medical history of your family, any risky habits (such as smoking) and lots of other factors. They basically figure out how likely you are to die (meaning that they would have to pay out your policy which of course they wouldn't want to do)and then charge you a higher premium the more risky you are to them. Also the amount they charge you would depend on how much your insurance policy is for, ie do you want them to pay out $1000 or $10 000 or $100 000 if you die. I'd suggest shopping round so you don't get scammed |
