I need a link to a windows 2000 test tool that with the following requirements (not Iperf is not acceptable as it sends data as fast as possible. I want to be able to meter my send rate to by messages and message sized per second). I want My generic type requirements are: --Run on Windows 2000 or greater --They can be configured via command line or UI or via a configuration file. --The server can have multiple clients connect to it. --The server waits for the client connection and then sends the messages specified in the configuration --Both Programs should be able to run simultaneously on a platform so that a sending platform can be a receiving platform at the same time. --Configuration parameters: For Sender ---Who receiver(s) are up to 4 (Address or DECnet) ---Message Size (Min=1 byte Max=2000 bytes) ---Message frequency: Min = 0 (as fast as possible) to 10000 milliseconds. ---Duration (number of messages or time) For receiver ---Who the sender is (IP Address or DECnet Addresses) Outputs of Program: ---Start time of messaging ---End time of messaging ---Total Messages Sent ---Total Bytes Sent ---Rate of send (bits per second): Assume a protocol overhead of 60 bytes. Other NICE TO HAVES: Range of message sizes e.q. Send messages between 10 and 800 bytes with an average size of 200 bytes. Ability to specify the message text. That it |

A colleague of mine ran across this too. This is free, but is does not do the metered download. |
