organizations in the U.S. These can be for-profit and non-profit
organizations. |

goldy37-ga,
There are numerous lists available of "most trusted" entities --
companies, brands, technology services, etc.
I could combine these into a single list for you, if that would meet
your needs. The organizations would be presented alphabetically, and
not in any rank order (they can't be ranked, as they come from
different lists with different criteria).
Here's an example of one such list, by the way:

Also, I can't promise you 200, though I could probably round up at least 100.
Would a hybrid list like that meet your needs? Let me know.

Pafalafa - We are more interested in actual companies and
organizations than brands. We would like to know who consumers trust
to deliver high-quality products/services (and customer service, where
applicable). Alphabetical order should be fine, though a rank order,
when possible, is preferred. As close to 200 as you can get is
optimal.
thanks,

Since your ideal answer would be a large, ranked list, I wonder if
you've considered the Fortune list of "America?s Most Admired
Companies", which they describe this way:
"Our annual ranking, rated in eight areas, including long-term
investment value, innovation, quality of management, services, and
products..."
You can read a bit about the list in this Money magazine article:
http://money.cnn.com/2005/02/21/news/fortune500/most_admired/
-----
To compile the list, Fortune and its survey partner asked executives,
directors and securities analysts to rate companies with the largest
revenues in 65 industries on innovation, employee talent, financial
soundness, management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility,
long-term investment and product quality.

What do you think....? A reasonable proxy for "trust"?
