Dear arthurwolf-ga;
Thank you for allowing me an opportunity to answer your interesting question.
The minimum requirements one must meet in order to be eligible to hold
the office of President of the United States are relatively simple.
The rules are set forth in Section I Article II of the United States
Constitution:
?No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United
States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be
eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be
eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of
thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the
United States.?
US CONSTITUTION

So, in summary, the Presidential candidate must be:
A natural born citizen of the United States
At least 35 years of age
And a resident of the United States for at least 14 years.
