To calculate the area of the front surface of a box, you?

a. add the length to the height
b. add twice the length to twice the height
c. multipy the length by the height
d. multipy the length by the height then divide by two

Assuming that the shape of the front surface of the box is
rectangular, the correct answer is:

c. multipy the length by the height.
              ______________________  
             |                      |
             |                      | Height
             |                      |
             |______________________|
                      Lenght

Area = Length X Height

Area=LengthxHeight will work on a box as well.  (Note: to find total
surface area of a "Cube", Multiply that figure times 6
