Hello empiricist2,

The only book published by Greider in 1992 was "WHO WILL TELL THE
PEOPLE? THE BREAKDOWN OF AMERICAN DEMOCRACY" and after doing a search
of that book, I was unable to find an exact quote of "experts are
experts". Are you sure this is the exact quote?

Pretty sure. I recall I read it in this book, but of course I could
be wrong. anyting close would be good. Greieder was trying to say
that experts always have a relationship with the elite groups in
soiciety first, then with the "common man: second, even if he were to
be charged with protecting the common good, it is through the screen
of eites.
