I can direct you to a site where you can conduct online searches of
the indexes of births and marriages in England. You have to purchase
units to view each page of the index (10 pence per image page). For
the period you specify this would be approx. 10 images for each one of
the names of the marriage. Once you have identified the relevant
reference number for the marriage, you can then order the certificate
at an additional cost. The same goes for the birth certificate.

I am trying to determine whether a wedding took place in 1959-1960 -
probably in Manchester, England - between John Cheney Urquhart (born
1936 - an LDS missionary to England at that time) and Ena Hooley.
Secondly, whether they had a male child - William Neil - born Mayfield
House Hospital in Manchester.

Much as we might like to help, Google Answers policy prevents
researchers from providing private information on living persons. 
Since your question seems to fall into this category, I think the
researchers here are likely to give it a pass.

However, if you would like a researcher to direct you to resources you
can use on your own, then perhaps we can be of assistance.
