I am looking for a 42-50 inches large plasma TV wall mount that is relatively
thin (preferrably 1-2 inches from the wall) but allows me to tilt the
TV down.

No quite.

shows me that this mount is a fixed mount, i.e. it doesn't tilt back
and forth a sneeded. "Two angle brackets included for mounting TV at a
fixed 5° down angle."

shows me that all Sanus mounts that allow tilt are at least 2.5 inches
deep. I am looking for something that is not as deep but tilts. Maybe
there is nothing out there.
