listed on US stock exchanges?

Hi hl33,

"The Halter USX China IndexSM is calculated by the American Stock
Exchange (Amex®) and disseminated through the Network of the
Consolidated Tape Association. It is comprised of companies whose
common stock is publicly traded in the United States and the majority
of whose business is conducted within the People's Republic of
China..."
(...)
"For a company to be included in the Halter USX China IndexSM it must
have an average market capitalization of more than $50 million for the
preceding 40 days, trade on the NYSE, Nasdaq or Amex® and must be
approved by our Selection Committee."

Would the list of these companies (app. 43), as of today, suffice as
an answer to your question?

Thank you very much for your help on this issue. I have also came upon
the Halter USX China Index. However, I do not believe that this is a
comprehensive list of all Chinese companies, because companies that go
on the index has to be "approved by our Selection Committee."
