Even though I have a setting "every visit to a page", the page does
not refresh until I clear cache. I have to do this 20 times a day, and
it takes 5 clicks to clear cache. All I need is a link to a plugin
that would add a "clear cache" icon to my internet explorer toolbar so
one click would cause the cache to clear.

Just to clarify, I am not looking for a long answer, just a simple
link to a site that would offer such plugin to be installed allowing
ability to clear cache in one click.

I'm pleased I was able to find a utility to fit your needs. Here it is again:

Wettberg Freeware

Search criteria:
"clear cache" plugin OR addon
"clear cache" program OR utility
"clear cache" "one click"

Internet Explorer Menu, Tools->Internet Options->Settings. Move the
"Amount of Disk Space To Use" slider to 0. This will suppress any
local caching of web pages. Therefore you will not need to clear the
cache 20 times a day.

Hello tomek,

Try this.. then the only click you may need is to close IE BROWSER.

Go to the Tools menu and open Internet Options.... In the Advanced
tab, go to the Security section. Check on or off the option to "Empty
Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed".

Regards,

Fahad

Shift Refresh clears the current page from cache (and any proxies that
have cached it as well).

The "every visit to a page" will work if the expires header was
present (and correct) when the page was sent down to you.

Just to summarize, All your comments with suggestions are okay. I use
them all the time, but for the particular page I was working on, none
of those things worked, I had to physically go into options and empty
temporary files. Now The tool in this answer is perfect and does just
that in one click instead of 6.
