We are a small company based in San Diego, California. We sell beautiful sterling silver commemorative pieces of jewelry such as dogtags, etc. with prices starting at 45.00 and no more than 75.00. Could you recommend an online direct marketing resource that would be appropriate for us..The products would fly... are great and would fly. |

Do you have a web site? I created www.platinumsmith.com.au a few months back and I have found all my customers through that. If you have a look you can see it wasn't done proffessionally, but I have taken time to upload good photos and let people know who I am and what I do. It will soon have some improvements! I will have www.platinumsmith.info for the education part (full of keywords) that links to a new gallery site and a sales site www.platinumschmidt.com which arn't yet made. The hard part is getting it up high on google etc and there is a lot to learn about this. For you, I think having a web site is a good thing even if it is just an extended business card - like mine. There are many galleries etc for art related jewellery and you could offer your jewelry to sell in an existing page but there is not much on offer for inexpensive commercial goods IMO. The best bet would be to search the terms that people would use to find you and subscribe to listings that come up high. Here you add your page and you will get some hits that way. The problem is they charge money to have a high rank on their site. Be a little wary as the price is often too high and for a start it would be better to look for free listings. Subscribe to the major search engines and do what you can to optimise your web site. If you have the funds, have a proffessional web site made and use google add words and overture and you will be guaranteed of hits and customers if the goods are worth it, but only as long as you can afford to keep paying to be high up in the paid adds as jewellery keywords cost a fortune.
