Has anyone found a way to use statin (i.e. Lipitor, but also others)
drugs so that I do not experience severe upper gastric pain when
taking them? I have well investigated and documented chronic
gastritis, easily controlled with OTC food-acid-removal meds and
avoidance of caffeine. Drug companies have told me they're aware of
similar problems (NOT those associated with myopathy), but nothing is
being done to address them as such patients (as I) are few and far
between, even though nothing else works for me but statins. Thank
you.
