I need to locate a public library in either Phoenix, Arizona or Los Angeles, California area that has a copy of the "International Cosmetic Ingredient Dictionary" (ICID) published by the Cosmetic, Toiletry & Fragrance Association (CTFA). The dictionary contains the required International Nomenclature Cosmetic Ingredient (INCI) labeling names and codes that are used in most countries. It doesn't make sense for me to purchase the book since I only need to look up a few items and due to the book costing $800+ new or a used copy costs around $500+/-. I need to find the ICID Reference Numbers for 20 ingredients asap. I had found a website a few weeks ago where you could look up the libraries throughout the U.S. that had a copy of the book but I didn't bookmark it and now cannot relocate the site. I'd prefer to locate a public library that has the book but would also be interested if anyone knows of a cosmetic manufacturer who would have a copy of the book and would be willing to allow me to use it for a very small fee. Come on people, please help me in my search. THANKS |
