Lingualearn has links and advice about machine translation software, but do beware of the results you can get. Choose your language on the link below http://www.lingualearn.co.uk/learners/brokerpages/broker_translation.htm |

If you need an accurate translation, you won't be able to get it from a machine or computer software. Some programs give a good "gist" of the original text, but if you want a translation that you can publish or use on a website, you'll have to have a human do it. For example, we tried two popular on-line machine/software translators to translate the following Polish sentence: Stawki na kredyty hipoteczne sa znowu rekordowo niskie. Machine #1: "Bids to credits hipoteczne are not anew record undersized." Machine #2: "Rates on hypothecary - credits are again record low." The same phrase translated and localized by one of our Polish translation, human translators reads: Mortgage rates have again hit all time lows. Machine #1 would have given you no idea, while Machine #2 would have given you the gist, if you thought about it long enough. The bottom line is to never trust a machine translation. Because of all of the variables, there are no good shortcuts to get an accurate translation. If you want it right, you'll have to pay a human translator to do it.
