Dear gangster5-ga; Thank you for allowing me to answer your interesting question. The author of the poem, ?Four Black Horses?, memorializing the RCMP officers killed in the line of duty, is Langley City Fire Chief Jim McGregor. LANGLEY ADVANCE Image: http://www.langleyadvance.com/issues05/021105/photos/top1.jpg Chief McGregor is not a stranger to poetry and art and he has lent his skills and donated some of his works to deserving charities in the past such as fundraisers for Muscular Dystrophy and other important issues. As you might imagine, of course, there are copyright and permission issues related to other people?s art and such is the case with Chief McGregor?s poem. It is not published online and for that reason we would not be able to recreate the poem here for you, so the most reasonable alternative is to get the poem directly from the source. To obtain an authorized copy of the poem contact: Jim McGregor - Fire Chief Langley City Fire Rescue Service 20400 Logan Ave Langley , BC V3A 4L9 Phone: (604) 514-2880 Phone: (604) 230-2957 Fax:604-530-3853 Email : jmcgregor@city.langley.bc.ca I hope you find that my research exceeds your expectations. If you have any questions about my research please post a clarification request prior to rating the answer. Otherwise I welcome your rating and your final comments and I look forward to working with you again in the near future. Thank you for bringing your question to us. Best regards; Tutuzdad-ga ?
