I have seen a music video on MTV or VH1 in the last 6 months. It was
just piano and drums. The drummer was playing with brushes and the
piano was floating in the air. There were no other musicians in the
video. I cannot remember who the artist (pianoplayer/singer) was. The
song was a fast jazzy-funky-rocker. Please help me find this musician.
I think the scene was a steet corner.

Hello.

The musician is David Gray. The song is "Please Forgive Me."

From a newsgroup post archived by Google Groups:
"David Gray - "Please Forgive Me". What a great time of music...
Anyway, the video is visually stuning, and Gray's presence is great.
He is playing the piano, in the air, and two kids on the ground seem
to enjoy it."

From epinions:
"I saw the video for Please Forgive Me with that floating piano over
the empty city."

The song is on Gray's "White Ladder" CD (2000). Audio clips at Amazon:
