In women, the level of luteinizing hormone (LH) rises immediately
before ovulation. What happens to the LH level if fertilization
occurs (i.e., the women becomes pregnant)? (e.g., Does the LH level
stay high? If yes, for how long?)

My reason for the question: A home urine test shows that I have high
LH levels. I took the test because I have an unusually high amount of
wetness (i.e., fertile cervical mucus???) as if I'm in a pre-ovulatory
fertile stage right now, even though my period is supposed to be due
in a few days.

However, I'm wondering if I may be pregnant right now because I've
been trying to conceive (i.e., unprotected sex) and had been very,
very lightly spotting (i.e., very, very light brown) around the time
of possible implantation(i.e., implantation spotting???), and my
period (not super regular) is supposed to come in a few days.

It sounds like you may be experiencing implantation bleeding which
usually comes shortly before your period. It sounds like you may be
pregnant. Here is a list of early pregnancy symptoms to see if you
have anything else:
