I need to know the current resarch data of TCP vs UDP (or overall) in
modern networks

Hello Cheskis,

Are you looking for research like
  http://www.cs.columbia.edu/~hgs/internet/traffic.html
(scroll down) which has statistics by traffic type (TCP, UDP) for up
to 2001 (but for 2003, 2004) or something else? Please explain your
question more fully.
