I have several large .pdf files in Spanish that I want to convert into Word so I work with them as I would with a Word document. I have Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional. I have Readiris Pro 10, but the conversion is into an .rtf file and IT IS NOT ACCURATE ENOUGH! I want to convert these files into regular (.doc) Word documents. How can I accomplish this quickly and hopefully at a reasonable cost? My system: MS Windows XP Professional 2002, Service Pack 2, Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.2 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 120 GB HD, DVD-RW Drive, 3.5 Floppy, HP ScanJet 6300C, Lexmark Optra T614. |

Have you tried copy and paste? What is it that isn't working well? Are specific characters not coming over properly? If so, won't a find and replace take care of that? PDF files aren't designed to be copied. While there is now software that claims it can do it, I'm sure it's just like OCR software--it can't guarantee the results. How many pages is it? Have you consider having someone type it? I know the people at www.piersontech.com do this kind of thing, tho there web is under current reconstruction. Good luck! |
