Hi,can anyone identify the name of the following poem (and poet),it was featured in Comic Relief on Friday the 11th of March. The words are as follows: There are no words that I can say To ease your pain right away your failing dreams, your broken bones, I have no words to change this day. Helpless child,I'll hold your hand and wipe your brow. I'll wash away your every stain, all this pain I will hold you in my arms again. From your first breath,I loved you so and with this love ,I'll let you go now breath your last my precious child It is time for me to guide you home. thanks for your help,Ali |

Hello I wrote this poem. I wrote it for a film calle "David" on this years Comic Relief. It was a beautifully shot film, I wanted to convey the private emotion between the mother and son. I hope this helps. It has not been published. This is the first time any of my poetry has come in to the public domain. I am glad that you liked it. Regards Tim Lovell |

The following is the correct wording of the poem. Your version was not quite right. Please ammend your version. Many thanks indeed. A Mothers Poem There are no words that I can say to ease your pain or hide away You?re failing dreams, your broken bones, I have no words to change this day. Helpless child I'll hold your hand and wipe your brow, I'll wash away your every stain, all this pain. I will hold you in mine arms again. From your first breath I loved you so, and with this love I'll let you go. Now breathe your last my precious child, It is time for me to guide you home. Copyright Tim Lovell 2005 |

Find that music

Hi The music used as underscore on the film 'David' was a track by Brian Eno. It came from the Album: Apollo Atmospheres and soundtracks and I think was track 5 'An Ending', although I can not quite remember. However it certainly came from this album. Hope that this helps. Tim |
