i have currently finished my degree and would like to start up my own business. me and three of my friends would like to set up a beauty salon within the university itself. we have £20,000 to start up with. as part of the business plan we need to create a cashflow. so therefore i need you to design a monthly cashflow forcast for 24 months. you must include an explination of how you have arrived at your figures and their implications for the potential sucess of the business idea. it does not require a balance sheet or a profit and loss account. - the amount in £'s stated in cashflow has to be in rounded figures. - Has to be done on excel in monthly periods - I have thought of the following that can go in the cashlow: 1) salaries- £1700 a month 2) rent of premises- £9600 per annum 3) furniture/equipment to start up- £1100 4) stock- £250 monthly 5) Advertising costs: leaflets and business cards-dont know the actual cost-do a rough estimate 6) as there will be four of us who have invested in the business we have decided to use our savings and borrow from family and between us have come up with £35,000 and have decided to borrow £5,000 from a bank with APR of 6.9% fixed. which works out to be £250 a month to pay back. 7) i don't know how much sales we will be making each year, so that will need to be calculated, roughly about over £1000 a month (something reasonable) i cannot think of anything else to add to it or whether or not we will have to pay tax and if so how much. also i would like to know for each month if its in surplus or deficit. -also would like a detailed cashflow forecast |

No offense, but I teach advanced Excel, and this would take me a day to produce something nice. I think you should increase the amount you're offering to researchers. (I'm not a researcher.) |
