The basic function of the Planning Commission is to make and adopt a
plan for the township's land use development. The Planning Commission
is required to review any plats, subdivisions, site plans or special
use permits.
The Richland Township Planning Commission meets the first Tuesday of
the month, 7:30 P.M. at the Richland Township Administration Office,
1180 North Hemlock Road.

The function of the Zoning Board of Appeals is to hear and decide
appeals from and review any order, requirement, decision or
determination made by any administrative official charged with
enforcement by the Zoning Ordinance.
