I want to respond directly to a question posted for me by palafa-ga
but I cannot find any link which enables me to do that. I have
answered the question in the 'comments' space but have no way of
knowing if s/he has seen it. Rather frustrating...

Mehitabel,

To respond to a Researcher's question, log into Google Answers, go to
the question where the Researcher asked you to respond, and click the
grey button in the upper right of the screen that says 'Clarify
Question'.

Yes, I have seen your comment (both here and in your original

Pafalafa-ga,

I have finally found where to answer YOUR questions! I saw that you
had found my answers anyway. Thanks for continuing your sleuth work
for me. I have emailed the library at the Military College in
Kingston, Ontario where FPR's original diaries are (I believe) but no
response yet.

mehitabel,

Additionally, you may "CANCEL" this question now. There's no need to
leave it open. Follow pinkfreud's directions again, and look for the

Now, Mehitabel, since two researchers have thoughtfully answered this
question for you for free without posting anything in the "Answer" box
(causing you to be charged the fee), you might want to cancel the
question. That will exclude the possibility of a further answer for
which you might get charged and which you now no longer need. And you
can continue any dialogue under your original posting.
