Would converting it into a movie work for your purposes?

You can capture the presentation and put it on a cd. You can use a
program such as camtasia by techsmith and record the screen of your
video and then save as a movie.

I check this out on powerpoint in office 2000 (not sure what version
you are using).. It seems failry simple..

I opened an existing PPT file, then chose file, saveas, then changed
the filetype to .htm (web page)..

you will then have a folder with all the files/sounds/images etc that
will run the slideshow from a web page..

Have the autorun.inf file in the root directory of your CD,
with the entire folder of your ppt/web files you just created.
have the autorun.inf file include this:

[autorun]
open=\foldername\fullscreen.htm
(fullscreen seems to be the default web page you want to run)

With Internet Explorer 6.0 and its popup blocker enabled, it does halt
the autoplay of the slideshow, but for the most part I think that
wouldn't be much of a problem..

Good luck!
Let us know how it works out for ya.
