I created a powerpoint presentation(with audio, images, fonts and animations.) and I am trying to transfer it to a cd to distibute to hundreds( so it has to look great and professional without pauses)I tried everything....the package as cd.... I converted it to flash...self extraction files..vhs...I think I tried every program...... Basically nothing worked! I need a clean method that works and that all my FONTS,IMAGES,ANIMATIONS WORK!Thank You! | |

Would converting it into a movie work for your purposes? |

i converted it to vhs- when i did the pictures lost their resolution and were terrbily unclear. but i want my presentation to look like a movie-(meaning it cannot be edited by the viewer) |

You can capture the presentation and put it on a cd. You can use a program such as camtasia by techsmith and record the screen of your video and then save as a movie. |

I check this out on powerpoint in office 2000 (not sure what version you are using).. It seems failry simple.. I opened an existing PPT file, then chose file, saveas, then changed the filetype to .htm (web page).. you will then have a folder with all the files/sounds/images etc that will run the slideshow from a web page.. Have the autorun.inf file in the root directory of your CD, with the entire folder of your ppt/web files you just created. have the autorun.inf file include this: [autorun] open=\foldername\fullscreen.htm (fullscreen seems to be the default web page you want to run) With Internet Explorer 6.0 and its popup blocker enabled, it does halt the autoplay of the slideshow, but for the most part I think that wouldn't be much of a problem.. thanks for your response..... I want to create auto-run cd- that can be viewed by any computer without interent. |

to david1977-ga I am in middle of downloading camtasia(haven't tried that yet)I have downloaded other programs such as power converter, articulate....and many that i can't remember.....are there any of these type of programs that are free? |

I downloaded camtasia- it was definately one of the better programs-however i am still experiencing pauses on my presentation- any suggestions? |
